here is the first part, read and revew:
A young woman walked along a path towards the shore. She was about 15 or so. She had long silky black hair, soft black eyes, and ghostly white skin. She was dressed like a water bender, but she wasn’t a water bender, she was a fire bender.
Holding a long, curved sword in her right hand, she climbed onto a fire nation’s ship, Zuko’s ship.
Iroh looked at her,
“Hay! What are you doing on this ship- Lizabeath?” The girl smiled a sweet smile and nodded,
“I am she.” Lizabeath chuckled as Iroh touched her cheek lightly,
“Your hair has grown long just as you have grown…” He sighed, “I will get Zuko.” Iroh turned.
“Iroh, wait!” Lizabeath called after him, “Tell him someone’s here to see him, but don’t say who…” Iroh nodded and walked to the princes’ room as Lizabeath slid her sword in the ribbon around her waist.
“Zuko?” Iroh knocked lightly on his door and opened it. Zuko was lying on his bed staring at the ceiling.
“What is it Uncle?” Zuko said, sounding distressed.
“There’s a young woman here to see you.”
“What does she want?”
“I don’t know, why you don’t go see…” Zuko stood up and walked on deck, Iroh following.
Lizabeath smiled at Zuko, and bowed her head in respect,
“Hello Prince Zuko.” She said sweetly. Zuko grunted,
“Get off my ship water peasant!” He commanded.
“Do you not recognize me?” Lizabeath stared at him hard.
“I do not have time for your little games!” Zuko said harshly. Lizabeath pulled her sleeve reviling her right shoulder. A large scar much like Zukos’ was on her shoulder.
“Lizabeath?” Zuko whispered, tears filling his eyes. Lizabeath smiled and covered her shoulder again, opening her arms for a hug. He steeped away, not wanting to give in.
“What’s wrong Zuko? Have you forgotten how to love?”
“Were we ever in love?” Zuko commented, wiping his eyes. Lizabeath shrugged,
“Maybe I was…. A hug does not define love; it defines friendship and trust, which is what we need if I am to help you catch the avatar.”
“Why would you help me catch him?” Zuko raised his eyebrow.
“Perhaps I want you to come home so we can be wed. Perhaps it was a promise I made to myself when you left. Or perhaps I am very lonely without the only man who understands me… perhaps…” She paused, “perhaps I just want to be with you because I am in love with you.” Lizabeath looked at him, resting the urge to kiss him for the first time in over two years. Zuko looked at her in shock. They had been no more than friends until the day they were arranged to be wed when Zuko turned eighteen. They just ignored each other after that day. Then came the day Zuko was banished, Lizabeath had given him her blessing then kissed him good-bye. She had been so much smaller then, and her hair (which now came to her waist) had only come to her shoulders.
Zuko touched her face, remembering the kiss. Lizabeath closed her eyes, feeling his touch. Zuko put his hand to his side and Lizabeath opened her eyes, frowning.
“Um…. Right… I have some things to do…” With that, Zuko turned and left, “Uncle! Get Lizabeath a room!” He said before turning to his own room. Lizabeath let out a sad sigh as she followed Iroh down the hall. Iroh opened a door that led into a small, dark room,
“There you go.” Iroh said
“Thank-you, you kindness is much appreciated.” Lizabeath bowed. He nodded and closed the door before walking away.
Lizabeath set her sword and bag on a small table in the corner of the room. She undressed and put on a short black skirt and tightly wound a red strip of cloth around her chest. She left her feet bare and braided her black hair. She walked to the bed, lay down, and drifted to sleep.
An hour later, Zuko knocked on her door,
“Lizabeath?
…
Lizzy?” He opened the door to find her sleeping. Closing the door behind him, Zuko stepped towards her. Lizabeath’s blankets had fallen on the floor.
‘So much beautiful skin…’ he thought, finding her rather attractive fore the first time. Zuko kneeled by her, watching her chest move up and down as she breathed. He looked to her shoulder, and seeing her scar, he winced. It was his fault she had that scar. He didn’t trust her and it had ended up in her getting badly injured, and both of them in major trouble.
He gently stroked her hair,
“I’m so unbelievably sorry, Lizabeath… so sorry…” Zuko whispered to her. He touched her arm. Her skin felt so good. So soft. So beautiful. Zuko, more than anything, wanted to hold her. He wanted to through his arms around her and kiss her. He wanted her to be his.
Lizabeath woke up and looked at Zuko, confused.
“Zuko?” Her voice was tired and cracked. He just looked at her, his hand still on her arm.
“Zuko,” She sat up, “What’s going on? What are you doing?”
“Sorry…” Zuko muttered and stood up and walked towards the door.
“Wait!” Lizabeath stood up and took two steps towards him. He turned to face her, slightly embarrassed.
“We still haven’t had the proper greeting.” Lizabeath said quietly before thronging her arms around Zukos neck and crying on his shoulder. He held her tightly, feeling her skin under his fingers.
“Did you miss me?” Lizabeath cried
“Not as much as I should have, I’m so sorry.” Tears filled Zuko’s eyes.
“I missed you so bad you wouldn’t believe! But you have to get the Avatar! You have to come back before I turn 16 next month or I have to marry someone else!” She paused, “That is why I’m here, to help you…”
“Oh Lizabeath…” Zuko touched her cheek, looking into her black eyes before getting lost in the embrace.
