I'll add more later... But for now here's Bei!
Name:Bei Jiong
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Bending Element: Fire
Appearance: Bei has neatly trimmed hair that reaches just down to his shoulders and curls up slightly at the ends. He has bright, friendly golden eyes. He is always wearing some sort of costume. Usually it will be dark red with golden trim. Sometimes he wears black with a ruby red sash. He stands quite tall at 5’ 11” and is average in build.
Bio: Bei Jiong was born to a rather small family in the Fire Nation colonies. At a young age he revealed his fire bending abilities, being able to produce a well-controlled flame. At nine Bei learned to juggle the fireballs and at fourteen he learned how to alter the temperature. Over the next years he learned more tricks by none of his abilities were ever used to harm.
At seventeen he joined the carnival, where he would juggle fireballs at different temperatures, ranging from red to blue flames. It was then his mother and father decided to push him to join the ranks of the fire nation soldiers. Bei instantly refused, telling them it wasn’t like him to hurt people for money. Bei went into seclusion, when he was discovered by an old Earth Bender woman. She allowed him to live with her, for a while, before sending the boy off to Ba Sing Se to learn under her grandson, an Earth Bending master. At first he was confused how a fire bender could be taught by an Earth Bender, however it eventually became clear.
He taught Bei to control his abilities in fantastic fashions. Until one day he turned to Bei and told him to travel. The boy needed to mature and see the world for what it was. So that’s what he did, and has been doing it ever since.
Other: Bei Jiong is a pacifist, no matter what, he will never harm a person with his fire bending.
Name: Jing Jizu
Age: 48
Gender: Male
Bending Element: Earth
Appearance: Jing is a huge man, standing at six feet and two inches. He is broad shouldered, and packed with as much muscle as physically possible. Jing is dark skinned, and has bright green eyes. His hair is very, very long, reaching down to his hip and is usually tied up in a Chinese style pony tail, which is tied up with a leather band. Jing is usually seen in a soldier’s uniform. It is dark green in colour, with a white band at the edges of it. It is sharp, and finely cut, making him presentable in almost all situations.
Bio: Jing was born to a jewellery making family in the fire nation colonies in the northern part of the Earth Kingdom. Although Jing’s father, Daichi, was formerly a warrior for the Earth Kingdom, he was wealthy enough to bribe his and his family’s freedom and provide jewellery for the captain of the colonies. Jing, unlike his father, used his earth bending skills to become a warrior. Jing’s family, up until the end of the war, had a tradition of arranged marriages. Jing refused to follow this tradition, but ended up promising to find a husband for his would-be-wife.
Jing would travel the world, living in Ba Sing Se for a while. There he began his Dai Li training, until the discovery of the Dai Li’s corruption. After leaving Ba Sing Se, the two stayed at Full Moon Bay, before heading off to Omashu. Here they were separated, as Jing joined a skirmish against the fire nation and was captured. He was placed on the prison rig, and was eventually broken out when Katara arrived. When he returned to Omashu, Jing heard news that the fire nation was attacking the Northern Water Tribe. This was where his companion was from, and immediately left to lend a hand. They arrived there too late to help, and there was a revelation that his companion’s brother had in fact perished in the fight.
When they arrived back at Omashu, it was under Fire Nation banners, and alone, they turned back and headed for the safe Full Moon Bay. There Jing became a guard, and were joined by the Kyoshi warriors. One of which had a romance with Jing, before it ultimately backfired and Jing had no choice but to leave. With Ba Sing Se’s revolution under the Dai Li name, Jing wanted to fight. When a man from the southern water tribe soldier told them of the invasion on the day of black sun, Jing and his companion signed up and both assisted in the battle. The battle turned sour and the two retreated towards the newly liberated Omashu, however they were captured by Azula’s Dai Li. Azula had heard of Jing abilities from the Dai Li under her command, and couldn’t resist twisting the potentially powerful earth bender to her whim. She attempted to charm him, but it was to no avail. No matter what she tried, Jing flat out refused her, even though she was so much more powerful than him. Azula punished him. She branded his chest with her own hands and decided to leave him to die, and soon left. The scars are still there to this day.
After the war ended, Jing travelled again to find his companion a husband. In their travels, they discovered General Fong’s Base in the midst of conversion. Jing stayed there for a while and helped build the city. It was around this time, that Jing was given a white lotus tile, a thoroughly confusing reward for helping the people. Jing travelled North West and eventually arrived at Senlin Village, where he created a school for the children, as well as protected them from rogue Fire Nation soldiers. Over the next year Jing travelled to the Fire Nation, and there Jing went his separate ways with his companion. Jing ultimately decided to return to Ba Sing Se. Jing took a job as a member of the city guard. Jing settled there, building his own house and a bending school. Jing was eventually promoted to “General of the guard” and has been in charge of the defence of Ba Sing Se ever since. Jing is now married to a Fire Nation woman named Arisu, and has a child with her.
Other: Jing is an Earth Bending Master. Jing likes to play Pai Sho…
